David Goldfoot: Prime Minister of Rose Festival
My brother, David Goldfoot, was Prime Minister in the Junior Rose Festival of Portland, Oregon when he was in the 4th grade. His winning speech was the poem, "What Little Boys Are Made Of". In 2003 he returned to Portland from Madison, Wisconsin to be a knight of Rosaria and was knighted by the present day queen. Now he to be called "Sir David Goldfoot". A rose was also named for him.
